Are you tired of being skinny? Have you tried to gain weight with no success?
If you are one of those people who can gobble up a buffet, eat junk food all day long and still not gain weight then this is the article you should be reading.
Don't give up, even if you are skinny now, you can still get ripped and gain weight and muscle mass to finally stop being labeled "skinny".
So enough talk here are the guidelines you should follow to start gaining weight.
I'll Take Two Please!
Eat double of whatever you normally eat. For example if you usually have a sandwich at lunch, eat two! If you have 2 pieces of toast in the morning, make it 4. Same goes for supplements you are using, such as protein powder. If you are taking 2 scoops of protein powder, use 4. You get the idea right?
Eat All Day
Well not literally, but if you seriously want to gain weight then you should be eating every 3 hours, on the dot. And don't eat junk food; it's just a waste of money. Eat whole foods that will give you nutrition.
Super Size Your Plate
Since you are going to be eating more, get a big plate, a big bowl a big cup and well if you are feeling funny heck why not a big fork! Fill up your big plate and chow it all down.
Fuel up Before Exercises
Eat a good meal before exercising. Lots of people just start exercising without having eaten correctly before or just taking a protein shake. This is a big mistake and it's what's keeping you from gaining weight. So before exercising make sure you eat a well balanced meal.
This is what you should be eating:
- Carbs: Comes in rice, bread, potatoes, oatmeal, fruits and vegetables.
- Proteins: Get them in cheese, whole milk, fish, eggs, chicken, meat
- Healthy Fats: avocado, nuts, peanut butter and flax oil.
- Great snacks: dried fruits and ice cream.
Bottom line, eat like crazy but stick to healthy foods. Even if you feel like you can't take another bite, you have to push your body to the limits. At first it's not going to be easy, but if you really want to gain weight then you have to constantly keep trying and sooner or later your body will get used to it and you'll start seeing the numbers go up on the weight scale.
